Mount Tezh is situated on Pambak mountain range in Lori and Kotayk provinces, 123km far from Yerevan. The ski track is located on the northern side of the mountain. It starts from Antarashen village of Lori province in the forested area and continues upwards. Beautiful views of the valleys and gorges on both sides of the road are opened.
Monument Description
Mount Tezh (3101m) is the highest summit of Pambak mountain range that begins from Jajur mountain pass (1952 m) and stretches to the southeast, up to Sevan Pass (2114 m). It is one of the largest mountain chains in the Republic of Armenia (106 km). The main branches of the sierra are the Tsaghkunyats Mountains and Mount Arjanots.

Fauna
Sometimes it is possible to meet bears, wolves, foxes, and wild rabbits.
Safety precautions:
Mobile connection is almost always available from the village of Antarashen to the end of the trail. In case of incidents, rescue services function in Armenia with 24/7 principle; call 911. Beware of dogs in villages.
