Tatev to Old Shinuhayr through Halidzor

This multi-day program is one of the least none treks passing through the most amazing and deepest gorges in The Republic of Armenia. It is unique in terms of the fact that you will hike through the woods, highlands, will come across with several cave complexes, will swim in rivers and beneath waterfalls, will stop by in karst caves and an abandoned town. A portion of the trek passes through the wild while the other portion gets through gardens and fields. 

Trekking plan:

Day 1: Yerevan - Tatev Monastery Complex - The Medieval University of Tatev and "Devil's Bridge"
2-3 hours
Difficulty Level: 3 (on a scale of 1 to 10)
1. Tatev Monastery Complex
2. Halidzor
3. a Basilica church
4. the “Devil’s Bridge”.
5. the University of Tatev which is considered as an Armenian sanctuary.

Day 2: The Medieval University of Tatev - Old Shnuhayr
2-3 5-6 hours
Difficulty Level: 5 (on a scale of 1 to 10)
1. Old Shinuhayr church
2. an abondoned village

Day 3: ld Shnuhayr - Shnuhayr village - Yerevan or Goris
1-2 hours
Difficulty Level: 2 (on a scale of 1 to 10)
If you have enough time, it is recommended to spend few days in Goris to visit places such as Old Goris, and Old Khndzoresk cave-town.
