Bgavor church is located on the slopes of Mount Lalvar, 3 km north-west of Akori village. The certain date of foundation is unknown, it is supposed to be founded in 13th century, as the architecture is common with the churches built in that period in the region.
The complex:
Bgavor church, a three-nave vaulted hall with three entrances, partially now in ruins. To the both sides of the altar there are two-story side chapels.
