How to get there

Start the ascent from Sevaberd village (11 km to Akna Lake) through alpine meadows or drive up to Akna Lake with 4WD vehicles and hike up to Aknasar for another 2.5 km. In overall the hiking trail is moderate specially in Spring, Summer & Autumn, and you will need to snowshoe in Winters. Beware of wolves in Winter time.
